Asibor Austine Orukpe

Augustine Orukpe Asibor, Esq. was born at Equare Quarters, Ubiaja, Esan South East Local Government, Edo State, on 12th August 1962, where he hails from but started his primary education at Agbor. He schooled at St. John's Anglican Primary School ( Now Orogodo Primary School), Boji- Boji Agbor, Midwest Region. From there, he proceeded to Ika Grammar School, Boji Boji- Owa, Agbor, in former Bendel State and now Delta State, where he passed out in flying colours. He had a diploma in public administration from the University Of Maiduguri, Borno State, and an LLB from the University Of Benin, Benin City, Edo State. He was later called to the Nigeria Bar as solicitor and advocate of the Supreme Court Of Nigeria. He worked in then Nigeria Petroleum Development Company Limited ( a subsidiary of NNPC), where he grew through the ranks to rise and retired as Chief Community Relations Officer. During his meritorious stint with NPDC, he was privileged to have travelled within and outside the country to attend various courses in the advancement of his career. He belonged to various clubs and associations, which include the Nigeria Bar Association, Lions Club, Benin Club, Honorary member ; Nigeria Police Officers' Mess, Airforce Mess and The Army Mess. He is currently the chairman of NNPC/DPR Retired Staff Association, Benin Branch, with almost 500 (five hundred) members. His hobbies include travelling all over the world, socialising, making friends, helping people, playing and watching live soccer and wrestling, listening to news and good music around the world. He is married with three (3) beautiful children - a girl and two (2) boys who are in the United Kingdom and Canada, respectively.
